About Guest Interviewers

Postby Filmbuff » Fri Jul 08, 2011 3:38 am

There is an interesting story behind this. On the request forum, I said there was a possible chance "The Thing" would be done, but not immediatly. Hell, its being considering for 2015 (Logan has this and the next two years pre-planned. Don't ask me what's on there. I tend to forget now and then.) I was minding my own business when I got a message from a guy named Norbert Weisser saying he was interested in a doing an interview for a FMM episode of "The Thing." This perplexed me because I don't recall making an interview request to him. I asked if he was sent a message for this and sure enough, he presented it. From what I could gather, someone was desperate to see an entire episode dedicated to the John Carpenter classic, found this guy and requested him to do an interview with my contact information. Its scary enough when someone hacks into your account and starts messing around, but something like that just left me creeped and startled. So I apologized and said we wern't interested at the time being, which he respected.

For those who don't know, Norbert Weisser is a German actor that did a lot of small roles. In The Thing, he's the Norwiegian at the start of the movie that gets nixed off. To be honest, he's probably a nice guy and I respect him, but I feel something better can be done like the special effects designer and creator of the creature or John Carpenter himself. What I'm saying is that if you know a celebrity to contact, tell us. Don't contact them without our knowledge and have random messages from a big name asking to be in our show. Cause it might be the wrong time and it will just leave us akward thinking how this guy was able to reach us. For whoever did that to me, listen and lisent well. If there is someone you want really really badly and know how to contact that person, post the information here or tell us. Don't do the job for us. We appreciate the help, but its better if we took care of it.

That being said, if you know any big names we can contact, by all means tell about here. Cause its better to share than keep it in without consent.

P.S. And if we ever do an episode of The Thing, chances are Norbert won't be in it. Not enough material to get from him.

Well, I'm facebook friends with Gary Goldman ( the producer of Don Bluth's films.) Maybe you can get him as a guest, if you guys do a Secret of NIMH episode.

Wow, Gary Goldman. Isn't that something. Congrats on the famous Facebook friend, maybe he might hire you as a co-worker someday.

If you guys have plans to do a Tron episode. Maybe you can get Larry Elin. (The key animator on Tron.)
