Games You Want Me To Review

Postby VGRetro » Fri Sep 04, 2009 4:54 pm

As the first topic in the VGRetro forum, I would to like to ask my viewers what they want me to review in the coming episodes?

My limit is from the Atari 2600 to the PS2 (or anything made after 2004). Just give me your suggestions and why you like / dislike the game(s), and I'll check them out in the near future.

Blast Corps is an underrated N64 classic from Rareware.

The plot revolves around the Blast Corps demolition company, which has to destroy a series of obstacles (usually buildings) which are in the path of a truck carrying two defective missiles to a safe location where their detonation can be controlled. Unfortunately, the truck has gone haywire, and even the slightest jolt can cause a nuclear winter. Blast Corps has a wide variety of vehicles to choose from (bulldozers, dump trucks, dune buggies, motorcycles, and even mechs and exoskeletons!) to destroy anything in its path.

It's a very fun game and I'd recommend checking it out.

Seeing as you plan on getting Tintin On The Moon for your Spectrum, any chance you can share your opinions on it with us?

If you come across some, I want you to review one or two of Codemasters racing titles[TOCA Race Driver and Colin McRae Rally series 2004 and earlier]. These game series would later pave the way for Race Driver GRID and Colin McRae DiRT. What's your thoughts VG? [Example:TOCA Touring Car Championship for PS1 in 1997/1998]

And oh yeah, is it possible for you to review one of the Gran Turismo games?[GT1-GT3]

Can't say. I don't play those kinds of games that often.

I apologize, but I'm a fan of the racing genre. So, in the near future, I plan to make video reviews and previews of racing games.

How about a game from Rare's heyday? Before the whole Microsoft buyout and the whole 'we need to make games for Natal, we aren't making another Killer Instinct or Conker yet' phase.
