Live Action Retirement

Postby VGRetro » Fri Sep 30, 2011 10:54 am

Bad news, everyone. It's been coming on for a while now, but I have officially retired from live action roles on the internet.

I've lost all interest in it, and hate having to perform in front of a camera.

The only live action appearances I will make from now on are as myself, and in VGBros. I will appear as myself in other people's videos as a special favour, but I will not make new shows as a character. That game's over.

Show's like I'm Mike will carry on as normal though, since I'm myself in those videos, and VGBros will not be the same without me, but apart from that, I'm pretty much done.

I have moved onto voice work, and have much more fun doing that instead of live acting. So if you want me to do voice work for anything, then feel free to ask.

I'm Mike and VG Bros will carry on as normal, but I'll only appear in live action if you really, really need me. Of course, Morgan Leger has plans for the future, in which he needs me to participate, and since I agreed to do that before retiring, that'll go ahead as planned. I think, while everyone on the web is doing a great job, the whole character review thing is now a dying fad, and people will get more fun out of dropping their character names and doing reviews as themselves. That's why shows like Ryan Hipp, Jaimetud and Vaulting are so great. Don't get me wrong, guys. The rest of you are very good too, but if you dropped the names of your characters and just be yourselves, your shows would be more engaging.

I dunno, it's just me rambling again, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Don't worry about it VGRetro, I perfectly understand the situation at hand. Yes, while it is a shame that you're retiring from live-action roles, it's no worries for me, because I only want you to feel happy about what you choose to do on the internet. Ah well, I still have your other shows and your out-of-this-world comic to keep me entertained until the ends of time. Thanks for the videos with you in front of the camera in role form, I can't wait for more of them as yourself. Sorry that your videos with you playing roles are ending, but at least, you'll still have other breath taking and out-of-this-world goodies, such as a comic book that is better than anything made by DC Comics or even Marvel.
