A new series, eh? I haven't seen it yet, but I anticipate it to be good. I'd also like to see some mockbusters nobody's tackled yet.

How about slammin' Cookie Jar's "Gotta Catch Santa Claus"?
2 aspects make it your worthwhile to rip it a new one
- William Shatner (Captain Kirk) as the voice of Santa Claus
- Formulaic (Save Christmas aspect)

But, is it a knock-off of another more successful film, including using similar titles? I believe that is the criteria Max is using, when deciding what a mockbuster is.

Maybe you should do Turkish Star Wars and its sequel, Son of the Man Who Saves the World.

Blimey! You sure want that movie to be teared to shreds, don't you? :? Don't worry, I'll review it in episode 4 'cause episode 3 is coming next week and the slot is already taken by another movie.

All I have to say is Carnosaur anyone? The intersting thing is that Ebert gave it his word as being the "Worst of 1993" and yet Siskel gave it a thumbs up, creating an epic rivarly between those two.

Their Worst of 1993 show is especially excellent for the fight that breaks out between the two at the end: http://siskelandebert.org/video/NN1N7RNMA55G/The-Worst-of-1993

Just watched "Snakes on a Train" and this...is pretty darn good. You dampen down your room reverb on your on-screen shots and you've got a real winner. Seriously. I feel like this is a fresh style, a great paced tempo, and some very nice and snarky remarks. Love it!
