Questions for Morgan

Postby Filmbuff » Tue May 18, 2010 2:54 pm

Seeing how many viewers have been asking me basic questions on the vids, It's hard to keep track on which vid they commented on and when they will respond. Thus, I created a topic for all of you to post and comment in here and that way I will know you get your answer. You can still leave a question on the vids, I just feel better when one recieves what they have been asking.

Is this something like the 1 year anniversary Q&A video you did or is this different?

Many viewers now and then post questions in my vids, so this is a way to organize that so I can keep track and never miss a single one.

Alright then, here's a question:

Is the Boss from DVD Talk the same character as you in Vaulting or are you two different characters?

No, they are different. In DVD Talk, being the creator, I get to boss over my own character, where else in Vaulting, it's just basically a webseries where I can be me and just present who I really am. DVD Talk is more of a character/comedy sketch series, while Vaulting is a sit and talk about nostalgia type of show. Both webseries are meant to satirize the YouTube vids where some guy stands/sits in front of a camera and rants about a movie or gives his opinion on a TV show. Here, it's taken up a notch. It parodies the chliced moments that one does (rant mode, build up tension, cop-out loopholes, etc.)

Also, as explained in my commentary for the Seth and Alex special, they are two seperate universes that if collide will cause chatosprophic proportions. There are little nods to it, but not a full on crossover. It would just appear to be awkward and clunky.

Hi Filmbuff. Did you see the movie "Come Marry Me"? It's a romantic comedy film directed by Ishiro Honda The same director who directed the first Godzilla movie.

You can read more about it on Ishiro Honda.com http://www.japanesegiants.com/honda/wor ... yome.shtml

Sadly, I have no plans to do that, but probably next year. I didn't think about it at the time.

Hi Filmbuff. I was wondering if you are thinking posting your videos on other websites, besides youtube and bliptv? Maybe Gametrailers or Spike TV.com? ( I know you know need to be a partner with them. Just like ScrewAttack did.)
