They've deconstructed the slasher flick, the sequel, and the trilogy.

And now that Hollywood has flooded theaters with its new gimmick (not 3D), it's time to deconstruct the reboot.

Two trailers are up on the official website.

Surprisingly, as much as I despise modern horror films as much as the next guy, this actually looks like it could be worth the decade-long hiatus. In keeping with the tradition of its previous installments, SCRE4M deconstructs the horror reboot, as well as films that suffer from post-trilogy syndrome.

I like the original trilogy (especially the first one) and I'm looking forward to where they take this. Considering what has been going on with the horror genre in the last decade, there is certainly a lot of material to work with here.
