Being a fan of the Star Wars saga, I would prefer that the films remained the way they were originally shown. And it's clear by what you stated that there are many fans that are upset about his plans in continuing to "complete" his masterpiece. The truth is that, they're not our movies. That tourch goes to Lucas. I don't think he means any harm. He had a vision of what he wanted his films to be, and he simply wants to fulfill it.
The good thing for me is that I have the VHS tapes. So yeah...
