Theme Song and Episode 17

Postby VGRetro » Wed Jan 27, 2010 1:38 pm

Just letting you guys know that Episode 17 is in the works, but it will not be released for some time. The reason for this is because I have a theme song in the works. I talked to somebody about it, and he's gonna make it, so I'm gonna hold off until that's done.

I won't give his name away for now, but I assure you he'll do a good job of it.

As for the 17th episode, I'll give the name away: It's "SHINOBI III: RETURN OF THE NINJA MASTER".

Is it Kyle Justin, the guy who does the Angry Video Game Nerd's theme?

Like I said, I won't give his name away. However, I will tell you this: it isn't Kyle Justin. Mind you, I wish it was!

I had a feeling you'd review Shinobi 3!

I figured it out from the 2 hints you dropped:

your first review of 2010 would be of a mega drive game
your first review of 2010 would be of a sequel to a game you already reviewed

that narrowed my guesses down to:

Vectorman 2
Shinobi 3
Flashback (in relation to Another World?)
James Pond 3: Operation Starfish
Asterix & The Great Rescue
Asterix & The Secret Mission
The Smurfs Travel The World

There are some there I'd like to review. I obviously won't play Vectorman 2, as if I were to review it in any other way than the original cartridge, it wouldn't do the game justice. Flashback, I have for the SNES, but haven't played much of it. James Pond 3 just lasts way too long, so I might miss out on that one. I hope never to review the other ones, but if I do an Asterix collection review, then I might give those ones ago.

You only want to use the original cartridges?

I like your style!

Ever thought of giving import adapters a try? I have one for my Sega Saturn and I use it to play the few Japanese games I own on my PAL console.

I have a Saturn, but can't play it regularly. I need a special aerial for it. At the moment, the only link to my TV is a scart socket, and that's pretty useless if I want to record games with my DVDR. I can do it, but it's more complicated than it should be. If only I could find an RCA or RF cable for it.

Still trying to get the money up for the song. It's tough, as I can't find work, and the company I work for has folded.

I'll leave you with this: The 2010 series will begin in May. There will be 14 episodes.
